Global Warming is Bad for Your Health

There are many things about the Anthropogenic (man-made) Global Warming hysteria that are, well, funny.  It seems that every day we find things that “Global Warming may cause” in supposedly reputable news sources.

I thought news sources were to report something that has already happened, not something that “may” happen.  One of the latest I have seen is that Global Warming may cause kidney stones.  No, really.  Read it for yourself here.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, here is a partial list of things that may be caused by Global Warming (forget for the moment that the globe has been cooling since 1999):

Floods and Droughts

Less frogs … and … more insects

Go here for a complete list.

I prefer warmer weather...which is why I'm planning to retire to Hawaii.

I believe global-warming will cause fewer people to freeze to death each year. Also, crops will not be stunted or delayed by cold temps, and fewer people will be killed by avalanches. And if you really think about it, global-warming should actually be good for another reason...

To keep warm in cold temps, people usually burn fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas, kerosene, propane, etc). Electric heat is expensive and not often used in cold climates. In areas that are warm enough to need only air-conditioning or limited amounts of heating, electricity from renewable sources (wind and solar) or CO2-free nuclear power would be preferable to the burning of fossil fuels.

Conclusion: global-warming is good. QED. Case closed.

(:D) Best regards...

Camojack And why do you think I live in Alabama?

Hawkeye Indeed. And who says that the current temperature of the earth (whatever that is) is ideal? Maybe this is colder than it should be right now.

I think we are on to something.

You can have Alabama, my friend, along with everywhere else that gets so oppressively miserable in the Summer.

Hawaii is perfect all year 'round...
