In case you missed it

It seems that NY-23 was prematurely conceded by Hoffman. Had he not conceded, Pelosi would have been one vote shorter from passing the Health Care Monstrosity. Then maybe the Republican would not have voted for it either. Ah, well.

I heard that the vote count is now separated by only 3000 votes, but there are 10,000 absentee ballots, so the election is technically still not over. Pray for a miracle.

Of course, for Hoffman to win, the absentees would have to be nearly three-to-one in his favor. Win or lose, this was an imprssive showing of what a conservative candidate can do in a blue state.
